More than 700 cadets of the School of Technicians of the Strategic Missile Forces (Strategic Rocket Forces) located in Kapustin Yar (Astrakhan Region), who received the specialties of driver mechanics for the MAZ-543 multi-axle chassis, passed the final exams in driving self-propelled launchers and special wheeled chassis MAZ-543 and MZKT -7930 and were sent for further service in the troops in a military echelon.
The military echelon will make its way through the cities and stations of the Astrakhan, Volgograd, Saratov, Tyumen regions, and in Novosibirsk the train will be united with the second military echelon, which left the Volgograd region.
When preparing the military echelon, a set of measures for disinfection and sanitization was carried out. The servicemen were provided with personal protective equipment (medical masks, antiseptics and hand gloves).
Before the departure of the train, thermometry of the body temperature of all graduates was also carried out.
The training of cadets is carried out using the latest training complexes. These are modern computer simulators designed to train driver mechanics of self-propelled launchers and MAZ-543 multipurpose tractors.
The electronics of these simulators allows in 3D format to automatically practice driving skills on difficult roads and off-road at any time of the year with simulation of combat and extreme conditions. Along with general technical subjects, the cadets also studied the humanities, in particular, technical mechanics, sociology, philosophy, etc.
After passing the final exams, cadets receive a certificate of a driver-mechanic for the MAZ-543 multi-axle chassis, drivers of cars with categories “D” and “E” and are sent for further service in military units and formations of the Strategic Missile Forces.
Annually, more than 2 thousand specialists of the automobile service for the Strategic Missile Forces formations graduate from the walls of the school of technicians of the Strategic Missile Forces.
