By the end of the year, specialists will update the power grid infrastructure of 35 polyclinics.
During the overhaul, 25 Moscow polyclinics received additional capacity to ensure the smooth operation of the latest digital equipment. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Petr Biryukov.
“In the summer, power engineers added 3.8 megawatts of capacity to 11 polyclinics, and by the end of October, another 14 medical institutions received 6.4 megawatts. By the end of the year, power engineers will update the power grid infrastructure of 35 polyclinics, the total volume of additional capacity will be 14.4 megawatts, ”he said.
The refurbished medical facilities will be equipped with energy-intensive digital equipment that requires additional power to operate. The deputy mayor also stressed that the power supply of clinics is in the second category of reliability.
“For each connected medical institution, power is provided over several cable lines from two independent sources. The ring-shaped network construction used in Moscow makes it possible to exclude interruptions in the power supply of medical institutions in the event of a technological disruption, ”explained Pyotr Biryukov.
Some of the polyclinics that are undergoing repairs need major reconstruction of networks – the construction of new transformer substations and the laying of high and low voltage cable lines. For example, power engineers installed new transformer substations with modern equipment and laid cable lines for three children’s clinics in the Southern Administrative District. A similar set of works was carried out for seven more medical institutions.
Overhaul is carried out as part of the implementationthe new Moscow standard of polyclinics… In total, the program includes 135 buildings. They are waiting for a comprehensive update, starting with the exterior and ending with the internal premises and communications.
