Additional measures have been taken in the capital to combat the spread of coronavirus.
In the capital, 6253 new cases of COVID-19 were detected per day. 1,415 people were hospitalized in hospitals. 359 patients are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. This was reported in the operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus in Moscow.
41.6 percent of new cases are people aged 18 to 45 years, 30.5 percent – from 46 to 65 years old, 10.2 percent – from 66 to 79 years old, 3.8 percent – over 80 years old. Another 13.9 percent are children. All patients and people in contact with them are under medical supervision.
Additional measures have been taken in the capital to combat the spread of coronavirus. People over 65 and Muscovites with chronic diseases are advised to observe home regime until the end of November, employers are required to transfer at least 30 percent of their employees to remote work, distance learning pupils in grades 6-11 were extended until November 22. In public places, a mask and gloves are required and social distancing is required.
Reserve hospitals are operating in Moscow. They are open at the Krylatskoye Ice Palace, Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center, Moskva Automobile Trade Center, Pavilion 75 at VDNKh and Kommunarka.
