Baltimore County Family Recovery Support Program celebrates National Recovery Month 2020
“All our participants had an amazing time celebrating his or her strides and strengths in recovery.”
On Wednesday, September 23, the Circuit Court for Baltimore County Family Recovery Support Program (FRSP) hosted an outdoor luncheon in celebration of National Recovery Month. The event was held at the Eastern Regional Park in a socially distanced manner, taking advantage of the beautiful weather and the positive atmosphere. Magistrate Wendy Schenker, Baltimore County Circuit Court, manages the FRSP program. The luncheon was led by Angela Shroyer, Problem Solving Court Program Manager.
Simply Paint LLC., a local minority and woman-owned business, provided art supplies and assisted participants in completing an art project to commemorate National Recovery Month and to celebrate their own recovery. Beautiful weather, amazing attendance, and joyful spirits made this a memorable event enjoyed by all.
“We could not have asked for a better day,” said Ms. Shroyer, FRSP Program Manager. “The day was beautiful, and all of our participants had an amazing time celebrating his or her strides and strengths in recovery.”
