The senior inspector of the personnel group of the Interregional Training Center (Meleuz) Anastasia Denisova, risking her own life, rescued two teenagers from the burning house.

The fire took place on Aksakov Street in the town of Meleuz.

Anastasia Denisova, who lives in the house opposite, noticed the smoke and heard children’s voices. She knew that a family with two children lived in this house.

When the chief inspector ran to the window of the burning house, she saw a fourteen-year-old girl and an eleven-year-old boy who could not get out on their own. Anastasia pulled out the children through the open window, took them to her home, calmed them down and changed them into clean clothes. At this time, firefighters arrived and put out the fire.

As Anastasia Denisova herself noted, “such a misfortune can happen to anyone, I think people should help each other, I rushed to help without even thinking, because children’s lives depended on me.”
