The platform home page now changes depending on the type of user. Visitors see the information that will be most useful and relevant for them.

Supplier portal becomes even more convenient and accessible for participants in public procurement. To make it easy to navigate the platform, different categories of users have developed their own design options for the home page and navigation. So, if a portal visitor is not yet authorized, he will see basic information about the site, he will be able to select his future status of a customer or supplier and proceed to registration. The smart interface will recommend the authorized supplier to proceed to purchasing, and the customer to the product catalog.

The home page used to have a consistent interface. It contained the menu and the main ribbon with blocks. There, new users, buyers and suppliers had to find the information they needed.

“The overall concept of the supplier portal is to provide users with an easy and understandable participation in the procurement process. Functionality, visual design, and custom scripts are developed for this task. Updating the interface and placing targeted content help participants feel confident at every stage of public procurement, easily navigate the information and quickly take the necessary actions, “said the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Information Technology Department

Edward Lysenko…

Updates also affected the main platform menu, which is the same for all categories of users. It displays the sections required to organize work on the portal. It is now structured and presented as a list of sections, and pop-up windows with subsections make it easier to find the category you want.

Thus, the section “Product Catalog” will help you choose the required products. A separate block contains plans and procurement schedules. The section “Unified Procurement Register” is devoted to quotation sessions, competitive procedures, B2B transactions and purchases on demand. The results of purchases in all areas are posted in the “Contracts”. Information about suppliers and customers can be found in the “Organizations” tab of the menu. A map of the regions, regulations, events and public comments, support center and other reference information can be found in the “Additional Information” section.

In the future, it is planned to expand the set of tools for suppliers and customers.

“The portal’s functionality is constantly evolving, adapting to new tasks of suppliers and customers, the interface is becoming more convenient for all participants in procurement procedures. Improving the platform provides transparency of processes, increases efficiency and competition in procurement. We see that not only is the total number of contracts and registered suppliers growing, but their activity is also at a high level: this year competition in quotation sessions on the portal is on average seven participants per purchase, “said the head of the Moscow City Department for Competition Policy

Ivan Shcherbakov…

Supplier portal was created in 2013 to automate small-volume procurement procedures. Now almost 200 thousand suppliers from all over the country and customers from 36 regions of Russia work with the Internet resource. Every day more than a thousand contracts are concluded on the portal, and the catalog of unique goods, works and services contains over 830 thousand titles.
