The Ecocenter’s specialists talk about the origin of bees, what bee-keeping is and what tools beekeepers use.
In project “Active Citizen” opened new vote – its participants will determine the topics for video tours of the ecological and educational center “Beekeeping”, which is located in pavilion No. 28 at VDNKh.
This fall, institutions launched the Journey with Maya video walk series on social media. Children and their parents can learn about the origins of bees, what bee-keeping is and what tools beekeepers use.
During the voting, the townspeople will choose topics for new excursions. Among them are beekeeping products (about useful beekeeping products and their use in medicine), exotic species of bees (about the diversity of species and behavior of bees), honey flowers (about the healing properties of honey plants), enemies of bees (about the influence of human activity on the bee population) ), the device of the bee colony (about who the bee colony consists of and who manages the coordinated work inside the hive). You can specify one or two answer options.
Materials for all events are prepared by the specialists of the Beekeeping Center. The first three video tours of the “Journey with Maya” series can be viewed on the page of the Ecocenter on the social network “In contact with”.
The Active Citizen project was launched in 2014. More than 4.6 million people have already joined it. Muscovites choose streets and courtyards that need to be improved, vote for events for festivals and holidays, and propose ideas for the development of the city. More than 4.6 thousand votes have taken place since the launch of the project.
In June 2020, the website of the “Active Citizen” appeared online map– on it you can see the changes that have occurred in the city as a result of the voting. More than 1.5 thousand objects have already been applied to the scheme.
