Visitors and employees must register using QR codes or SMS.

Since November 5, the check-in system (registration of telephone numbers at the entrance) has been introduced as an experiment in the buildings of the Moscow Government departments. Both employees of the executive authorities and visitors must be registered. This will provide an opportunity to notify them of the possible risk of contracting coronavirus.

At the first stage, the check-in system was introduced in the buildings where the departments of the Moscow Government are located. At the second stage, subordinate organizations will become participants in the experiment.

The new system will not cause inconvenience to either employees or visitors. Now, in addition, they will only need to register their phone number by scanning the QR code or by sending an SMS to 7377.

If in the future a coronavirus is detected in someone in the building, all registered users will receive a notification about possible contact with an infected person. This will allow them to pass the test on time, limit the number of contacts and stop the further spread of the infection.

The check-in system was first introduced in Moscow nightlife on October 19. Before entering a club or bar, the opening hours of which cover the period from 00:00 to 06:00, visitors and employees must register a phone number so that in case of contact with a carrier of coronavirus, they can promptly receive an alert and undergo testing for COVID-19.

In practice, to date, more than two thousand organizations have joined the system, including restaurants and hotels, which are not subject to the mandatory registration requirement. They voluntarily implemented this system. During the operation of the system, 3.3 thousand people received notification of possible contact with a sick visitor.
