The development of ecological tourism in Russia is one of the goals of the Ecology national project and a number of long-term state programs. For this, our country has unique conditions: more than 13% of the territory of Russia is specially protected areas, reserves, national parks. “Not a single country in the world possesses such wealth,” the head of the Government stated.

“We are proud of the most beautiful places with amazing pristine nature, UNESCO natural heritage sites. Beautiful places that many tourists have long dreamed of seeing. These are the volcanoes of Kamchatka and the Karelian forests, the mountains of Altai or the Caucasus, the rivers of the Urals and Siberia, the Far East and the Black Sea coast, “Mikhail Mishustin recalled.

He stressed that the main task is to attract the interest of tourists to them, to make this type of recreation exciting, safe, comfortable and affordable.

The Prime Minister called for the preservation of the natural resources of our country and the formation of a responsible attitude towards the environment among people.

According to Mikhail Mishustin, in order to develop ecological tourism, we need joint efforts and long-term work, which includes attracting investments in the industry, creating modern infrastructure, developing a wide range of new services, and training professional personnel. It is also necessary to determine the most clear rules and standards for the industry, which will help all participants to work effectively and develop their business.

“I am sure that during these days you will have the opportunity to exchange experience, express and hear many interesting ideas, find support for your business projects,” concluded Mikhail Mishustin.

He expressed hope that the conference will lay the foundation for new successful projects.
