An investigation following a fail-to-stop collision in Friar Street, Reading, has concluded.
An appeal was made in connection with the collision of a cyclist and a 23-month-old-girl who had been attempting to cross the road with her family, shortly after 2.30pm on Sunday 11 October. The rider stopped briefly at the scene but then rode away without leaving his details.
The child sustained a head injury and was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital by officers. She was discharged several hours later and is expected to make a full recovery.
Following the appeal the cyclist shown in the image was located.
A voluntary interview was carried out on Friday 16 October and CCTV of the incident was viewed by officers. No further action was taken and no arrests were made. A 1,000 watt motor was surrendered to officers investigating the collision. As the motor did not meet UK law, it has been sent for destruction.
