In accordance with the combat training plan, the naval sweeping group of the brigade of ships protecting the water area of ​​the Troops and forces in the northeast of Russia conducted an exercise in Avacha Bay to overcome minefields on the routes of deployment of fleet forces.

The crews of the two base minesweepers improved their practical actions for mine action to support the deployment of small missile and anti-submarine ships: wiring behind the trawls when leaving the basing point.

In the course of the exercise, the ships carried out a passing reconnaissance search for sea mines of a simulated enemy using contact and non-contact trawls.

Further, mine-sweeping ships conducted an exercise to organize the air defense of the detachment during the passage by sea and hit the dropped parachute target with the fire of AK-630 artillery mounts.

The minesweepers also found a mock floating sea mine and destroyed it with naval artillery fire.
