The competition was held at the suggestion of Natalya Krylova, a member of the Public Council under the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Khakassia, and Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the Abakan Construction College of the Republic of Khakassia.

The teachers of the Abakan Construction Technical School, who were part of the Commission, were surprised and moved by the sincerity with which the convicts in their works revealed their emotional memories, experiences, bright moments of life associated with the school. How highly the contestants appreciate the role of a teacher, and those who have rich life experience behind them turn to the younger generation about the need to acquire school knowledge, about their great value in later life.

According to the results of the competition, 2 winners were determined (a convict from IK-28 and a convict from IK-35) and 5 prize-winners, of which the third place was taken by a minor accused, held in custody in SIZO-1.
