A residential building was built in the Cheryomushki area under the renovation program. It is located at 17 Garibaldi Street.

“A renovation program has come to Cheryomushki. This year we will rent two houses, and wave relocation will continue. In place of the demolished houses, new ones will be built. There are not so many houses for relocation, so we are looking for opportunities to accelerate the renovation, “

Sergei Sobyanin.

The renovation program in Cheryomushki includes 119 five-story buildings. More than 24 thousand residents of the district will move to new apartments. The Moscow government has approved two projects for planning the territory for the implementation of the program. They provide for the creation of a high-quality and balanced urban environment in Cheryomushki.

In the quarter between Architect Vlasov Street, Nakhimovsky Prospect, Novocheryomushkinskaya Street and Garibaldi Street, seven infrastructure facilities will be built, including a school, four kindergartens, a fitness center and a district government.

Two educational complexes, consisting of a school and a kindergarten, will be built on Sevastopolsky Prospekt. In addition, a polyclinic, a music school and an administrative and business center with a House of Culture will appear there.

In Cheryomushki, four launch sites were identified with a total area of 39 thousand square meters. House 32 on Profsoyuznaya Street was commissioned in July 2020. House 17 on Garibaldi Street is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of October.

Two more houses will be built: on Sevastopolsky Avenue (possession 28, building 9) should be commissioned in 2021, and on Novocheryomushkinskaya Street (possession 56, building 3) will be ready in 2023.

By the end of 2020, it is planned to begin the settlement of two houses.

New building on street Garibaldi

The new building on Garibaldi Street is a two-section monolithic building. It has ten floors, to which one more underground is added. The house was built according to an individual project.

The ventilated facade of the house is faced with light beige porcelain stoneware slabs with a brick pattern. To accommodate air conditioners, special boxes are installed on the facade.

The new building has 90 apartments, of which 18 are one-room, 54 are two-room and 18 are three-room. Their total area is 5.2 thousand square meters. The apartments and common areas are finished in accordance with the requirements of the Moscow renovation standard.

On the ground floor there are non-residential premises – shops, consumer services and other facilities necessary for the convenience of residents will be located there. The playground in the yard is equipped with a safe rubber coating, sidewalks and footpaths are made.

Residents of 80 apartments (208 people) of a five-story building located at 17 Garibaldi Street, Building 2 will move here.

Renovation in Moscow

The program for the renovation of the housing stock in the capital was approved on August 1, 2017. It includes 5,174 houses – about 350 thousand apartments with a total area of 16.4 million square meters, in which about a million people live.

The first new settlers moved into new homes in February 2018. The resettlement of residents of 183 old houses into 58 new buildings has begun. In total, 27 thousand residents are moving, of which 21.4 thousand people have already moved to new apartments.

To date, 67 residential buildings have been built with a total area of 0.9 million square meters. Construction and design of 263 houses with a total area of 4.2 million square meters is underway.

“The city finances all construction in full, all the groundwork for it is there, there are no problems and there is no slowdown in the implementation of the renovation program and will not be. We will build and rent houses as quickly as possible. The problem is always only to disperse this wave, to determine the launch sites, to build the first houses on these launch sites, then the second, the third. And this is how three or four waves must pass in order for us to complete the implementation of the program on schedule, ”Sergei Sobyanin said.

To help citizens with resettlement, information centers have been opened, where you can consult with representatives of the City Property Department, the Moscow Foundation for the Renovation of Housing Development, the prefecture, the management company, the general contractor and other specialists. Citizens in need receive relocation assistance.

To implement the program, 464 launch sites were selected for the construction of houses with a total area of 7.3 million square meters. They are located in all administrative districts of the city as close as possible to the five-story buildings included in the program.
