As part of the mountain-field exit of the units of the Ryazan Guards Higher Airborne Command School named after General of the Army V.F. Margelova (RVVDKU) 5th year cadets overcame the obstacle course and performed practice shooting exercises at the Raevsky training ground near Novorossiysk.

At the training range of the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Assault Mountain Formation (mountain), fire training sessions were held. In the course of the firing exercises, the issues of firing were worked out by calculations from the AGS-17 “Flame” automatic easel grenade launcher, the RPG-7D3 anti-tank grenade launcher, the “Kord” heavy machine gun and the GP-25 under-barrel grenade launcher in mountainous terrain.

Classes are held with the aim of improving the methodological skills of cadets in organizing fire training and practical study of the tactical and technical characteristics of various weapons in service with the Airborne Forces.

A mountain-field trip with cadets will end with a long-distance flight by Il-76md aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, followed by landing on the landing site in the Ryazan region.
