“In the Yuzhnoportovy area, three launch sites have been selected for the renovation program. Construction is underway on Petra Romanova Street (possession 18), the planned commissioning of a new house is planned for December 2020. A house is also being designed, which will appear on 1st Mashinostroeniya Street (possession 5a); it will be put into operation in 2022. For the new building, which will appear at the address: Petra Romanova Street, possession 10, urban planning documentation is being developed. Thus, we expect to start resettlement within the first stage already at the beginning of next year, ”said Sergei Levkin.

The head of the department clarified that at the first stage, the resettlement of residents of houses located at the addresses: 5th Kozhukhovskaya street, house 35, 7th Kozhukhovskaya street, house 8, buildings 1 and 2, Petr Romanov street, houses 10 and 11 will begin.

“All participants in the renovation program are provided with modern comfortable housing with improved interior decoration and comfortable public spaces,” stressed Sergei Levkin.

The South-Eastern district of the capital is one of the leaders in terms of the number of houses included in the renovation program – there are 818 of them. For the wave resettlement and construction of houses, 60 launch sites were selected.

In the Yuzhnoportovy district, 27 residential buildings will be settled, seven of which will be preserved, since they are of historical and architectural value. More than four thousand people will move to new apartments in the district.

The program for the renovation of the housing stock in the capital was approved on August 1, 2017. It includes 5174 houses – about 350 thousand apartments, in which about a million people live.
