Servicemen of the engineer-sapper unit of the 41st Combined Arms Army (OA) of the Central Military District (TsVO) during the exercise cleared the coastline of the river. Tom and ensured the passage to the opposite bank of the units of the motorized rifle formation stationed in the Kemerovo region.

Specialists of engineering and sapper units, using mine detectors IMPS-2 and Korshun, conducted engineering reconnaissance along the route of crossing the water barrier by a column of military equipment and discovered a minefield set up by a mock enemy along the river bed. The mines were laid at a distance of 200 meters.

Using UR-77 demining devices, the servicemen made several passes up to 6 meters wide at the border crossing the water barrier, ensuring the safe transfer of military equipment to the other side.

The 41st OA of the Central Military District is deployed in the Novosibirsk, Kemerovo regions, Altai Territory and the Republic of Tyva. It includes motorized rifle, artillery formations, air defense troops, RChBZ and communications.
