Crowdsourcing project starts on the platform on November 3 “Test Moscow”, in which the townspeople will be able to offer their ideas for the development of a mobile application of the same name for students and youth. The application itself was launched a year ago, with its help, users quickly learn about the most interesting educational events, festivals, exhibitions, quizzes that are held in the city, and also register for them.

“From November 3 to 6, the participants of the crowdsourcing project will be able to propose ideas for improving the“ Test Moscow ”application in three areas, such as proposals for improving the interface and functionality of the mobile application, as well as the user rating system based on their activity and the most popular types of program rewards application loyalty. Also, within the framework of the crowdsourcing project, it will be possible to discuss options for potential partners for the project “Credible Moscow”; thematic events that will be of interest to application users; share the experience of using modern online service catalogs, highlight their advantages and discuss with participants. Ideas that experts and participants recognize as the best based on the results of the project will be guaranteed to be implemented in Moscow, ”said Alexander Pischelko, head of the New Management Technologies State Institution.

The experts will select the best offers until November 8 inclusive. The project will end on November 11.

“The mobile application“ Test Moscow ”is a joint project of the Moscow Department of Information Technologies and the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy. Students from 121 Moscow universities have already registered in the application, and the total number of users exceeds 13 thousand. This allows us to consider the application as the main platform for interacting with Moscow youth. The crowdsourcing project will be the beginning of a new history of the development of a unique application for the younger generation, ”noted Ekaterina Dragunova, Chairperson of the Moscow Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy.

The mobile app now has five sections. The most popular of them are “News” and “Tasks”, where users find out relevant information and pass tests and quests, for which they receive points. Also in demand is the section “Events”, which contains events interesting for young people. According to the Moscow Department of Information Technologies, which oversees the development of the application, the citizens’ initiatives will help to create the demanded convenient functionality. According to Marina Tavadze, Advisor to the Head of the Department, the proposals of the participants in the crowdsourcing project will allow further developing the application in accordance with user requests, expanding it both functionally and in terms of content.

The platform appeared in 2014. For six years, more than 200 thousand people have become its users, who have proposed over 100 thousand ideas. Of these, more than four thousand were selected for implementation. More than two thousand are already working. Muscovites also took part in the projects “My Park”, “Electronic House”, “Children’s Clinics”, “Moscow Polyclinics”, “Active Longevity”, “Moscow Libraries”, “My Office of Public Services”, “Cultural Centers. Future “,” Museums of Moscow “and others. This fall, a new section appeared on the platform, where anyone can suggest ideas for improving urban infrastructure. In chapter six directions: social sphere, traffic management, improvement of parks, courtyards, pedestrian zones and city-wide spaces.
