COVID-19 patients can become social volunteers and help those who are treated at home.

Over the past day, another 3,269 Muscovites have recovered from coronavirus infection. This was reported by Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.

“The number of people who have recovered in Moscow continues to grow. Over the past day after undergoing treatment, another 3269 patients recovered. The total number of people who have recovered from the infection has increased to 296,474, ”said the Deputy Mayor.

After treatment, doctors do special tests to make sure the patient has recovered.

At the moment, about 15 thousand beds have been deployed in the capital to treat patients with a new coronavirus infection in city, federal and private hospitals, as well as in reserve hospitals at VDNKh, Kashirskoye Highway, Sokolniki, Krylatskoye and Kommunarka.

Recovered Muscovites are offered to become plasma donors. A volunteer can be a person aged 18 to 55 years old who has had a coronavirus infection and does not have chronic diseases. Also, the donor must have negative tests for HIV, hepatitis B and C. To donate blood plasma or become a social volunteer, you need to call the hotline by phone: +7 (495) 870-45-16, which works daily from 09:00 until 19:00.
