Specialists of the units of radiation, chemical and biological protection (RHBZ) of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, who arrived in the Republic of Abkhazia to help prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, continue to disinfect the social infrastructure of the republic.

Today, the servicemen of the combined RCB detachment for the protection of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet), after completing a 50-kilometer march from Gudauta to Sukhum, took measures to disinfect social facilities in the Gulripsh region of the republic – the central military hospital of the Ministry of Defense of Abkhazia, a tuberculosis dispensary, a market, an administration, a police department and military unit. In just two days, more than 50 buildings and structures with a total area of ​​more than 70 thousand square meters and the adjacent territory, as well as road surfaces with a total area of ​​more than 15 thousand square meters, were processed.

30 servicemen of the RChBZ ChF unit take part in the processing activities and 11 RCB protection vehicles are involved – these are mobile systems for aerosol disinfection, auto-filling stations ARS-14M with degassing, decontamination and disinfection kits DKV-1K, heat engines TMS-65U with a jet engine, generators of hot fog and special treatment kits DK-4. Also, Russian military specialists of the RChBZ troops process public roads.

The work is being carried out for the fourth day in a row, during the entire stay of the Russian servicemen in the republic, about 200 thousand square meters of various surfaces in crowded places were disinfected.

A column of 11 special vehicles of the Black Sea Fleet protection of the Black Sea Fleet marched from the Crimean Peninsula to the Republic of Abkhazia. During the movement, the convoy covered more than 800 kilometers. The composite detachment includes about 30 servicemen of the Black Sea Fleet RCBZ unit. Before the start of the movement on October 17 this year. the personnel conducted a technical inspection of equipment, medical equipment and protective equipment, all servicemen were examined.

In the shortest possible time, divisions of the Black Sea Fleet RKhBZ deployed a temporary vehicle fleet and points for special processing of equipment involved in disinfection. Then, together with the medical specialists of the Republic of Abkhazia, they assessed the volume of work to be done and began to carry out disinfection

activities.

Earlier in April of this year, the combined detachment of the RChBZ Black Sea Fleet already took part in disinfection in the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia.
