The prosecutor’s office of the Nizhnekolymsky district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) carried out an inquiry on the woman’s appeal about the violation of the housing rights of her family members in connection with the forced living in an emergency house.

It was established that the applicant, along with her husband and 15-year-old daughter, under a social tenancy agreement lived in a house, which, due to significant physical deterioration of the building, a decrease in the level of reliability, strength and stability of the building structures and the foundation of the building, was declared emergency and subject to demolition.

At the same time, until the woman turned to the prosecutor’s office, the municipality had not provided her and her family members with housing in exchange for the emergency.

The district prosecutor’s office made a presentation to the head of the administration of the municipal formation “Chersky Settlement”.

As a result of the intervention of the prosecutor’s office, the family’s housing rights were restored, and they were provided with a comfortable apartment that meets the established requirements.
