The competition of design works dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War “Touch the history of war” was announced among students, teachers of schools of educational colonies of territorial bodies of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, employees and workers of the penitentiary service, teachers of departmental vocational schools.
The initiator and organizer of the remote creative competition was the secondary school of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Jewish Autonomous Region, operating on the territory of the Birobidzhan educational colony.
“The competition is dedicated to the history of veterans whose life path was associated with work in the penitentiary system, – said the school director Natalya Korgina. – The main tasks are acquaintance with historical facts on the example of the fate of specific people, the formation of historical memory and a sense of patriotism. Local history projects can include various information about war veterans who worked in corrective labor, and later in educational colonies. Including biographical information, combat path, awards, documents, photographs. The work can be done both individually and in a group. “
The jury, which includes teachers, employees and veterans of the penitentiary system of the Jewish Autonomous Region, representatives of universities and institutions of additional education in the region, will determine the three best works in the nomination “Project work of students”, as well as the winner in the nomination “Research work” for teachers and employees of educational colonies.
The competition will end on December 20, 2020. The results will be announced by February 1, 2021. The best projects will be published in a thematic collection for further use in the educational and teaching process of schools of educational colonies.
