35 patients are undergoing treatment at the YuVO mobile multidisciplinary hospital deployed in Abkhazia to treat patients with coronavirus infection.

Military doctors of the Southern Military District continue to receive patients and carry out medical and diagnostic measures in a mobile multidisciplinary hospital deployed in the capital of the Republic of Abkhazia.

Currently, 35 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of a new coronavirus infection are being treated in the hospital. All of them are citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia. Patients receive full treatment. Patients are brought in by ambulance from all regions of the republic. The decision on hospitalization and further treatment is made in agreement with the local doctors.

Also, Russian military doctors on the territory of the hospital deployed in Sukhum are additionally conducting research on PCR diagnostics of analyzes delivered from the city’s laboratories of the republic. Within two days, more than 200 analyzes were processed, all research results are sent back to the laboratories of the republic, which significantly speeds up the receipt of results.

The military doctors of the YuVO mobile multidisciplinary hospital have at their disposal the most modern medical equipment – artificial ventilation devices, monitors for intensive observation of patients, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, blood analyzers and a PCR laboratory.

Earlier, the personnel of a mobile multidisciplinary hospital of one of the units of the Southern Military District made a march on standard equipment about 800 kilometers long from the point of permanent deployment in the Stavropol Territory to the city of Sukhum (Republic of Abkhazia) and began work.
