Who does this notice affect?
Biosecurity industry participants and accredited persons operating under the department’s class 19.2 automatic entry processing for commodities (AEPCOMM) approved arrangement.
What has changed?
From today, AEPCOMM accredited persons will have the option to direct goods subject to Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) seasonal measures for onshore sulfuryl fluoride treatment using the new AEP code BMSBSF. The BMSB hitchhiker pests BICON case has also been updated to reflect the new treatment option available under the class 19.2 approved arrangement.
Further guidance on how to assess goods subject to BMSB seasonal measures via AEPCOMM, including help cards and links to video tutorials can be found on the AEP reform webpage.
