Whether you need support in term time or during the school holidays, our Family Hubs are here to help. Families experiencing hardship over the half term can contact the family hub at Bessborough for advice and support. Those requiring urgent help with food can contact the hub before 11.00am each day of the half term (Monday – Friday) on 0207 641 5923 and a food parcel will be made available for collection from their local family hub.

There are plenty of activities and events happening in and around Westminster to keep your family entertained this half term, including:

Play and youth hubs: Once again we will be running various activities for young people in Westminster. If your child attends any of our play and youth hub activities, they will receive a free meal. Please contact the youth hubs directly (see list below) to find out more:

Libraries: Our libraries are offering online activities and events for children and young people between Monday 26 to Friday 30 October, including an exclusive book reading, Halloween crafts and cooking. Visit our website to find out more.

The Royal Parks: Throughout autumn, The Royal Parks are putting on an array of activities, including virtual Halloween activities, guided walks, bug hunting and horse-drawn carriage rides. Find out more.

WAES Family Festival: From Monday 26 to Friday 30 October, Westminster Adult Education Services is hosting different online activities for the family to enjoy with their Autumn Family Festival. There’s everything from craft to first aid, mindfulness to yoga. View all the activities and sign up today.

Natural History Museum: The Natural History Museum is offering exclusive tickets on Monday 26 and Wednesday 28 October between 10am to 12pm for local communities. Tickets include light refreshments and a family activity pack which contains notebooks, pencils, souvenirs and activity sheets. Up to six tickets are available per household and support bubble. Free boxing sessions: #FIGHTTOGETHER Kids are running free boxing training sessions for children aged 7-16. Sessions will run from Monday 26 to Friday 30 October between 2pm to 3pm at Rathbone Boxing Club. No previous experience required. Find out more and sign up here.
