The reconstruction of the Dmitrovsky overpass continues. Currently, work is underway to re-equip utilities, arrange temporary roads, build retaining walls and erect supports for a temporary overpass.

“During the reconstruction period, the movement of vehicles on Dmitrovskoe highway will not be limited. We plan to ensure the throughput of the highway during the construction period by means of a temporary overpass, which will be erected on the right side of the existing overpass when moving to the center, ”said the head

Moscow Construction Department Rafik Zagrutdinov.

During the work, specialists will completely replace the supports and spans. After reconstruction, the length of the overpass will be 312.12 meters, and its width – 44 meters. It will ensure the movement of vehicles in four lanes (now there are three) in each direction.

In addition, the project is to reconstruct the ramps between Dmitrovskoye Highway, Valaam Street, Line Street of the Oktyabrskaya Railway and Lokomotivny Proezd. On the overpass, sidewalks with a width of four meters will be made, noise and mud screens, an automatic anti-ice system, central and side barriers will be installed.

“Reconstruction of the overpass will provide the throughput of Dmitrovskoye Highway for cars and trucks, improve communication with the North-East Expressway, increase the throughput of Valaamskaya Street and Line Street of the Oktyabrskaya Railroad by redistributing flows,” added Rafik Zagrutdinov.

In accordance with the contract, the work is scheduled to be completed by March 2023.
