Military doctors of the Southern Military District continue to receive patients and carry out medical and diagnostic measures in a mobile multidisciplinary hospital deployed in the city of Sukhum (Republic of Abkhazia).

Earlier, the personnel of a mobile multidisciplinary hospital of one of the units of the Southern Military District made a march on standard equipment about 800 kilometers long from the point of permanent deployment in the Stavropol Territory to the city of Sukhum (Republic of Abkhazia) and began work.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, at the request of the Republic of Abkhazia, has deployed a mobile multidisciplinary hospital with 100 beds in order to increase the bed capacity and provide medical care to patients with a confirmed diagnosis of a new coronavirus infection in the Republic of Abkhazia.
The mobile multidisciplinary hospital is a field medical unit dedicated to the inpatient treatment of patients with novel coronavirus infection.
To carry out medical and diagnostic measures, the hospital is equipped with artificial lung ventilation devices, monitors for intensive observation of patients, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, blood analyzers and a PCR laboratory.
As of 23 October p. In a mobile multidisciplinary hospital, deployed by the Russian military on the territory of the Aytar hotel, 21 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 are being treated.
