The big topics this year also include climate change and health as well as the role of Europe and the World Health Organization (WHO) in global health. Speakers for the World Health Summit 2020 include Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, EU Commission President Dr. Ursula von der Leyen, WHO Director General Dr. Tedros A. Ghebreyesus and UN Secretary General Dr. António Guterres. The World Health Summit 2020 will take place exclusively digitally from October 25 to 27, there will be no on-site events. All 50 keynote lectures, panel discussions and workshops in English are available online free of charge; each session can be accessed without registering via a link in the program. Journalists can also take part in the World Health Summit 2020 digitally only; accreditation is not required.

World Health Summit The World Health Summit in Berlin is one of the most important international strategic conferences on global health issues. 50 sessions with 300 speakers, including experts from politics, science and representatives from business and civil society, will be broadcast live digitally this year. The forum was founded in 2009 for the 300th anniversary of the Charité and is under the patronage of Federal Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron, President of the European Commission Dr. Ursula von der Leyen and Dr. Tedros A. Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization WHO.
