The number of injuries fell by 6.1% compared to the same month last year

WIESBADEN – In August 2020, 279 people died in road traffic accidents in Germany. According to preliminary results, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that this was 41 fewer than in August 2019. The number of injuries fell by 6.1% to 34,100 in August 2020 compared to the same month last year.
