A fourth man has been charged in connection with a murder in south-west London.
[D] Lewis Adams, 29 (19.05.91) of Rutherwick Rise, Croydon was charged on Wednesday, 21 October with the murder of 25-year-old Patrick Gomes De’Almeida in Morden.
He was also charged with grievous bodily harm and two counts of robbery.
He will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 22 October.
Three men have previously been charged in connection with the investigation. They are:
[A] Gerald Atkins, 33 (16.08.87), of Greyhound Terrace, Streatham, and [B] Leigh Wright, 28 (01.11.91), of Whitworth Road, SE25, were charged with murder, two counts of robbery and causing grievous bodily harm.
They appeared in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 8 October where they were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 12 October.
They were further remanded at that hearing to appear at the same court on Monday, 7 December.
[C] Jamali Calvert, 20 (11.12.99) of Ingatestone Road, Croydon was charged with murder, grievous bodily harm and two counts of robbery.
He was remanded in custody and appeared at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 13 October where he was further remanded to appear at the same court on Monday, 7 December.
