City guides in English will be available for download at the virtual stand of Moscow. From them, users will learn about the modern sights of the Russian capital, places for families with children, cultural events and urban gastronomy.
Moscow’s tourism potential will be presented at the international exhibition ITB Asia 2020… It will be held from 21 to 23 October in an online format.
At the virtual stand organized by the capital The Tourism Committee, Moscow will show its tourism opportunities, and representatives of the city tourism industry will take part in negotiations with partners from Southeast Asia.
Participation in the exhibition will give the capital an opportunity to attract new tourists after the restrictions are lifted, and representatives of the industry will be able to meet new tour operators and find potential partners.
City guides in English will be available for download at the virtual stand of Moscow. From them, users will learn about modern metropolitan attractions, places for families with children, cultural events and urban gastronomy and use this information to plan trips to Moscow.
As part of the business program of the online exhibition, a business contacts exchange will be held. It will be attended by representatives of the Project Office for the Development of Tourism and Hospitality of Moscow, as well as representatives of 10 organizations of the Moscow tourism industry, including tour operators of inbound tourism and hotels. They will conduct individual negotiations with partners from Southeast Asia.

ITB Asia is one of the largest international travel exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region, which will be held online this year. The event will include a business program on the themes of MICE (Meetings Incentive Conferences Events – business tourism), Travel and Travel Tech (technologies in the field of tourism), an online exhibition of world travel destinations and a business contacts exchange for representatives of the tourism industry.
In 2019, more than 1,300 exhibitors from 132 countries took part in the ITB Asia exhibition in Singapore. More than 30 projects and attractions were presented at the Moscow stand, and its participants held more than 350 working meetings.
This spring, the Moscow Tourism Committee launched the format of online conferences with foreign partners to continue the international exchange of experience. Representatives of city structures and the tourism sector of seven countries – Azerbaijan, Hungary, Spain, Kazakhstan, China, South Korea and France joined the teleconferences organized by the committee.
In addition, in June Mosturizm launched a new format of international interaction – a digital road show. Specialists and participants of the tourism market held negotiations with colleagues from the Gulf countries.
