NIST plans to host the Fourth Lightweight Cryptography Workshop (virtual) on October 19-21, 2020, to discuss various aspects of the second-round candidates and to obtain valuable feedback for the upcoming selection of the finalists. NIST is soliciting research and discussion papers, surveys, presentations, case studies, and participation from all interested parties. Submissions must be provided electronically in PDF format and sent to NIST will post the accepted papers and presentations on the conference website; however, no formal proceedings will be published. 

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Security analysis of the second-round candidates
  • Benchmarking results in software and hardware
  • Side channel analysis of the candidates
  • Requirements and characteristics of real-world applications of lightweight cryptography

Submission deadline: September 14, 2020

Notification deadline: September 28, 2020

Registration deadline: October 15, 2020 (registration is limited to 150 participants)
