Hice to Unveil Historical Document Display at Washington County Courthouse

Monroe, GA, October 19, 2020 On Friday, October 23, 2020, Congressman Jody Hice (GA-10) will participate in a dedication ceremony for the display of the Foundations of American Law & Government, a set of nine historic documents that will be prominently featured at the Morgan County Courthouse.   “Eight years ago, I was privileged to stand with Governor Nathan Deal as he signed the law permitting this collection of historical documents to be displayed in any public building in Georgia,” said Congressman Hice. “It was the culmination of the work I undertook as a private citizen long before I became a Member of Congress, and it gives me great pleasure to participate in the dedication ceremony of this important display in Sandersville.” Friday, October 23, 2020 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Dedication of Historical Document Display Washington County Courthouse 132 W.
