Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a wildlife crime in Great Rollright, Oxfordshire.

Some time between 2pm on Tuesday (13/10) and 11am on Wednesday (14/10), a sheep was attacked and killed by a dog in a field off the public footpath on Hook Norton Road.

Investigating officer PC Emilie Logan, based at Bicester police station said: “It’s possible that there could have been more than one dog involved in this incident

“I hope this also highlights the importance of keeping dogs under control when walking by farms and wildlife.”
