For Crimea and Sevastopol, a set of measures has been formed to ensure a reliable water supply. This document was approved by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The plan includes 14 initiatives, including the development of new water sources, construction of water intakes, drainage systems and treatment facilities, geological exploration activities, as well as overhaul of existing water supply networks.

The total amount of financing for the events presented in the document will exceed 48 billion rubles. Their successful implementation will provide additional water supply to Crimea and Sevastopol in the amount of at least 309 thousand cubic meters per day.

A complex of solutions will stabilize the situation with water supply on the peninsula: it will save the residents of Crimea and Sevastopol from interruptions in water supply and periodic blackouts.
