In connection with the transition of city dwellers to home mode and remote work, an increase in the volume of waste is forecasted.

Garbage collection operators have been instructed to tighten control over waste disposal. Due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, older Muscovites and people with chronic diseases must observe a home regime and avoid visiting crowded places without special need, while companies and enterprises in the capital need to partially relocate their employees.

The head of the municipal economy complex emphasized that measures are being taken in the capital to further sanitize the places of accumulation of municipal waste and the adjacent territory. Also organized daily work on the disinfection treatment of garbage trucks.

“All employees involved in garbage collection are instructed to strictly observe the rules of personal hygiene and sanitary discipline,” concluded Pyotr Biryukov.
