In the Central Naval Museum named after Emperor Peter the Great, in accordance with the established tradition, students of naval cadet classes of school No. 290 of Krasnoselsky district of St. Petersburg were sworn in allegiance to the cadet brotherhood.

Young sailors, in front of their comrades, mentors and parents, solemnly vowed to sacredly honor the traditions of the Motherland, know and respect its history and study successfully.

As the director of the TsVMM Ruslan Nekhai noted, the museum has long and rightfully become the center for such events, which are held in a unique atrium among the historical artifacts of the Russian fleet in the immediate vicinity of the hall where the Boat of Peter I is demonstrated. This atmosphere inspires and motivates children to study the traditions of the Military -Marine fleet, which turns 325 years old in 2021.
