While serving his sentence in prison, the man transfers part of his salary to an orphanage and a fund that treats children. The administration of the correctional institution supports and assists the convict in his charitable initiative.

While still at large, the convict together with a relative – an Afghan warrior and other like-minded people on a voluntary basis helped the families of soldiers who died in Afghanistan. Men traveled to cities, erected memorial steles to the soldiers-internationalists, visited their mothers and wives, and provided all possible help.

Later, the convict decided to help children in need. This desire, according to the man, is rooted in his own childhood. He grew up in a complete, prosperous family, but among his classmates there were ten children – pupils of an orphanage.

“I looked at them and realized that they were deprived of a lot that I and other children from ordinary families have. Probably, it was these memories and impressions that prompted me to start helping such children at a mature age, ”the convict noted.

In the colony, the convict is engaged in household work and from each salary, upon application, he deducts a sum of money to one of the orphanages and to the fund for helping sick children.
