In the Khabarovsk garrison, a conference on nutrition was held in the army aviation unit of the Eastern Military District, timed to coincide with the International Day of the Cook.
The event was organized and conducted under the leadership of Colonel Maxim Litvyakov, Deputy Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Air Defense Forces for the rear.
The conference was attended by more than 50 representatives of the rear structures of formations and military units of the Air Defense Forces.
As part of the event, a competition was held for the preparation of the best dish, in which about 25 specialists-cooks of formations and military units of the Khabarovsk garrison took part.
Participants of the competition held master classes on the preparation of various dishes of the national cuisine – Russian, Kazakh and Buryat, demonstrated the process of cooking with detailed explanations of each stage of production.
In addition, an exhibition of prepared dishes was held, which were evaluated by the competition commissions.
Culinary dishes were evaluated in a tasting manner according to their taste, colorful design, correct serving of dishes, their variety, compliance with food preparation standards and standards of contentment.
The event was held with the aim of improving the organization and quality of food supply for the personnel of formations and military units of the Air Defense Forces, improving the professional level of food service specialists.
The winners of the competition were awarded with certificates and valuable gifts.
