The Bank of Russia University will hold this online training course for law enforcement officers from 19 October to 25 December 2020. In 2021, it will be available for financial market participants, employees of information security companies and universities.

Main course topics include: practical aspects of information security in the credit and financial sphere, cyber risks in digital economy, and issues related to increasing the effectiveness of the government and business in counteracting cybercrime. The course will cover pressing financial cybersecurity issues, such as combating social engineering techniques, phishing, and phone number substitution. Course participants will learn about the methodology of computer forensics and cyber incident analysis.
‘It is crucial to ensure financial market information security in the context of fast development of financial technologies used by both people and businesses. We started to offer this training course because we believe that increasing the qualification of all concerned parties is required to successfully fight cyber fraud’, said Ruslan Vesterovskiy, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia.
This course is taught by experts working at the Bank of Russia as well as at Russian state and private organisations.
