The officers of the headquarters of the 41st Combined Arms Army (OA) of the Central Military District (CVO) were checked for the level of physical fitness as part of the final check over the summer period of training.

Servicemen passed standards for three types of physical indicators: strength, speed and endurance. Depending on the age group, the exercise for strength at the choice of the examiner consisted of pulling up on the bar, bending and extending the arms in a lying position, or pushing two weights, each weighing 24 kg. The speed was tested at distances of 60, 100 meters, as well as a shuttle run of 10×10 meters. The results of the 1000 meters and 3000 meters cross showed the level of physical endurance of the officers.

More than 100 officers of the association’s management were involved in passing the standards for physical training.

Based on the results of the test of the level of physical fitness, servicemen who successfully pass the tests and show the required result in their age group have every chance of receiving a monthly allowance to their salary.
