Servicemen of the intelligence units of the 41st combined arms army (OA) of the Central Military District (CVD) took part in complex exercises at the Kara-Khaak, Yurginsky, Aleisky ranges.

According to the plan of the exercises, the servicemen had to make a march of many kilometers, carry out reconnaissance measures in assigned areas of the terrain, ambush the forward forces of the imaginary enemy, destroy armored vehicles and manpower of the “enemy”, and also seize secret documents. The actions were practiced in full combat gear, using modern reconnaissance means “Fara”, “Sobolyatnik”. During the exercise, much attention was paid to the covert movement and tactical camouflage of military personnel, as well as the withdrawal of reconnaissance groups from the area of ​​special missions and practicing counter-ambush maneuvers in the event of a sudden attack by a mock enemy.

At the final stage of the exercise, the scouts fired small arms, machine guns and grenade launchers.

The exercises of the intelligence units took place as part of the final check over the summer training period. More than 500 servicemen and about 50 units of military equipment were involved in them.

Earlier, the commander of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin, announced that more than 10 major exercises with the participation of large formations, formations and military units of the Central Military District will take place in October as part of a control check of troops during the summer training period at training grounds in Bashkiria, Udmurtia, Tuva, as well as in Kemerovo , Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Samara, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions.

The 41st OA of the Central Military District is deployed in the Novosibirsk, Kemerovo regions, the Altai Territory and the Republic of Tyva. It includes motorized rifle, artillery formations, air defense troops, RChBZ and communications.
