Thursday, October 15, 2020, the Minister of the Armed Forces , Florence Parly, went to the Atelier Industrielle de l’Aéronautique (AIA) in Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme) [1], three years after speaking in Evreux during a founding speech in terms of Maintenance in operational condition (MCO), where it presented encouraging initial results which confirm a clear improvement in MCO performance. However, this progress is part of a fundamental reform which will give its full effect over time. The AIA works for the 3 armies by providing heavy maintenance (aircraft repair and maintenance capacity).
