Wednesday, October 14, 2020, around 3:30 p.m., three men entered the jewelry store, where, after pushing and tying up the jeweler, stole watches and jewelry before fleeing on foot. The victim, a 54-year-old Swiss national, was slightly injured. Despite a large police force, the perpetrators who fled were not arrested.

The prosecutor on duty opened an investigation. The investigations are entrusted to the inspectors of the Vaud security police, including those of the forensic police brigade.

The Vaud cantonal police are calling for witnesses. Those who can provide information are requested to contact the Vaud Cantonal Police Engagement Center on 021 333 53 33 or the nearest police station.

The three men sought correspond to the following reports:

male, between 45 and 50 years old, about 185 cm, athletic build, light beard, salt and pepper hair, wearing a pair of black rectangular medical glasses, a light shirt and a brown-beige jacket;
male, about 190 cm, slim build, wearing a white shirt, blue tie and dark jacket;
man, wore a cap and a large dark gray backpack.

This event required the intervention of numerous patrols from the Vaud and mixed gendarmerie (gendarmerie / municipal police), the Police of Chablais Vaud (EPOC), including that of the canine brigade, a helicopter as well as inspectors from the Security Police.
