The Government has decided to extend the operation period of the temporary testing centre in Yau Tsim Mong to October 18 after reviewing all four testing centres’ usage and public demand for the testing service.

The other three temporary testing centres in Wan Chai, Kwai Tsing and Kowloon City will cease operation after tomorrow.

The four temporary testing centres will be open from 8am to 1.30pm and ‪2.30pm to 8pm tomorrow.

As ‪at 8pm today, specimens had been collected from a total of 11,865 people at the four temporary testing centres for COVID-19 nucleic acid tests.

As ‪at 10pm today, a total of 8,676 specimens collected under the temporary community testing arrangement had been tested.

The public can also get deep throat saliva specimen collection packs for COVID-19 tests at the Hospital Authority’s 46 general out-patient clinics.
