Beijing Emergency Management Bureau is now promoting the use of a disaster and accidents reporting mini-program in the capital to raise public awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation and encourage Beijing citizens to report the disasters and accidents in a timely manner. Ordinary citizens and the more than 9,000 disaster information officers are now able to upload disaster information through the mini-program anytime, anywhere.
The mini-program was developed by the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People’s Republic of China with the aim to collect disaster and accident information across the country so that related departments can take timely rescue measures.
It takes only three steps to complete the reporting of a disaster or accident. The first step is to search for the mini-program in Alipay, click to enter, and accept the authorization agreement; then click on the “+” sign to add a new item; finally, to fill in detailed information about the disaster or the accident, including the date, time, address, and type of accident, before submitting. The mini-program also allows users to upload pictures or videos for more added information.
