Police have arrested three people after locating drugs and suspected stolen goods during a search warrant at a short-term rental house in Frankston North this morning.
Detectives from the Frankston Crime Investigation Unit attended a Rosemary Crescent address about 1.20am.
Officers arrested two men and a woman inside and subsequently searched the house, locating what is alleged to be GHB and cannabis.
Police also discovered mobile phones and a large amount of tools all suspected to be stolen.
A 29-year-old Carrum Downs man has been charged with traffick GHB, three counts of possess drug of dependence, two counts of possess proceeds of crime, two counts of contravene bail conditions, commit indictable offence on bail and breaching Chief Health Officer directions.
He was remanded to appear before Frankston Magistrates’ Court later today.
A 27-year-old Mount Martha man has been charged with possess cannabis, possess GHB, two counts of possess proceeds of crime, handle stolen goods and breaching Chief Health Officer directions.
He was bailed to appear before Frankston Magistrates’ Court on 7 July 2021.
A 26-year-old Frankston North woman was interviewed and released pending further enquiries.
The directions by the Chief Health Officer, under the State of Disaster declared in Victoria, have been enacted to help stop the spread of Coronavirus.
