WASHINGTON, DC – This month, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) released their scorecard for the 116th Congress, which measures the support of every Member of Congress on equality and LGBTQ rights issues based on their legislative record. U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) received a score of 100%.
“I am honored to receive a perfect score from the Human Rights Campaign, recognizing my work to ensure that every single person in our community has equal rights under the law,” said Rep. Delgado. “As a member of the LGBTQ+ Equality caucus, I was proud to co-sponsor and vote to pass the bipartisan Equality Act, critically important legislation that would ban all forms of discrimination against LGBTQ individuals. Our work continues at the federal level to advance legislation to support the LGBTQ community and the fundamental American principles of equality and justice for all.”
