The military tactical game Zarya in airsoft between the teams of Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands took place on the territory of the Uspenovsky training complex. The event was held at such a large-scale level for the first time; more than 120 people from all over the island region participated.
More than 20 teams from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Poronaysk, Kholmsk, Okha, Tomari, Korsakov and even from Kurilsk and Goryachi Klyuchi came to the closing of the season in airsoft.
According to the scenario of the game, 120 participants of all teams united into two groups: blue and yellow. To win, each group had to complete various tactical tasks: defense of the command headquarters, destroy or capture the opponent’s tactical points and successfully transport the captured cargo to its base.
For transportation, fire support and cover for the personnel of the teams, 10 units of military equipment provided by the command of the army corps of the Eastern Military District were involved in the game.
In addition, blank cartridges were constantly fired from combat vehicles, thereby bringing the gameplay closer to real combat. Capturing enemy military equipment is one of the most important tasks of the game scenario, for which teams received points at their own expense.
Fulfillment of the assigned tasks for the team members was complicated by the rugged, rugged terrain of the training ground, high vegetation and a large number of ditches.
As a result of the game, the blue side won, the total score was 474: 280 in favor of the blue team.
Before the start of the event, spectators and participants of the competition were able to see an exhibition of modern samples of small arms presented by the military personnel of the motorized rifle unit of the army corps of the Air Defense Forces.
The military tactical game was organized by the regional “Sakhalin Airsoft Federation” with the support of servicemen of the Army Corps of the Eastern Military District and the Sakhalin Region Youth Affairs Agency.
