In the year of the 30th anniversary of the EMERCOM of Russia, Dmitry Pogorelov, a rescuer of the parachute unit of the Magadan search and rescue unit of the EMERCOM of Russia, with a group of tourists climbed the southern slope to Mount Nukh.

This path is shorter, but definitely more difficult, the climb is steeper and therefore harder. Big mountain Nukh, which in translation from Even means “wild onion, wild garlic”, rises in the Khasynsky district of the Magadan region and reaches 1828 meters.

Having reached the top of the mountain, Dmitry and his comrades unfurled at the top the flags – 30 years of the EMERCOM of Russia and the flag of the Magadan PSO – a branch of the FGKU “DVRPSO EMERCOM of Russia”.

During the ascent, the rescuer studied another, already the second route of climbing Mount Nuh. This will come in handy at work if you have to provide assistance to tourists. In total, there are 4 climbing routes to the summit, with two of them the Magadan rescuers have already met.

In April of this year, the rescuers of the Magadan branch of the Far Eastern Regional Search and Rescue Detachment have already ascended to the highest peak in the region and installed there a bell “30 years of EMERCOM of Russia”.
