The Russian Greco-Roman Wrestling Cup ended in Ufa. The result of the tournament for the wrestlers of the army club was 10 awards of various denominations – five gold, two silver and three bronze medals.

Stepan Maryanyan took the lead in the Russian Cup in Greco-Roman wrestling in the weight category up to 60 kg, defeating his teammate Lieutenant Sergei Yemelin in the final bout. Andrei Ivanov and Sadyk Lalaev climbed to the third step of the podium.

Private of the CSKA sports company (Balashikha) Roman Ivanov became the third in the weight category up to 63 kg in Ufa, sharing the bronze medal with Maxim Novichikhin. Zhambolat Lokyaev excelled in this weight, defeating Marat Garipov in the final.

Lieutenant Artem Surkov, performing in the weight category up to 67 kg, defeated Maxim Surkov in the final, rising to the highest step of the podium. Islam-Beka Albiev and Saygid Butaev became bronze medalists of the country’s Cup.

In the weight category of 82 kg, Ramazan Abacharaev was unmatched. In the final, the soldier was stronger than Milad Alirzaev. The bronze medal was shared by the World Championship medalist, senior warrant officer Imil Sharafetdinov and Dmitry Dzhioev.

Captain Nikita Melnikov became the best in the weight category up to 97 kg. The final in this weight category did not take place, as warrant officer Musa Yevloyev fell ill. Alexander Golovin and Ilya Borisov chalked up the bronze.

Sergey Semyonov, like many of his teammates, took gold in Ufa. In the final fight in the weight category up to 130 kg, Semyonov defeated Rafael Tsitsuashvili. Lom-Ali Akayev and Danila Sotnikov climbed to the third step of the podium.
